For the Player:
Shabbily clad in coarse woollen work-wear, this sour-faced, middle-aged dwarf’s apparent supervisory role is the only thing that makes him stand out from the miners milling about him. Even at a glance, his relationship to the other workers is cordial, even friendly. Kept in place by simple copper bands, his long salt and pepper beard and hair are unkempt by dwarven standards, though they are notably cleaner than the other miners’.
For the Dungeon Master:
Despite appearances to the contrary, Toruq Copperpick is a fabulously wealthy dwarf. Starting out as a humble miner, his bright intellect, keen business acumen, and a few lucky breaks allowed him to climb to his current station in the span of a few decades. The proprietor of seven highly profitable mines, he reinvests part of their profits into his workers and future business opportunities rather than spending lavishly on himself. Eschewing overt signs of wealth even as he hoards it, Copperpick much prefers the company of his workers to that of the high society that envy his fortune.Use this NPC in your game: You can use this NPC’s profile in your personal game.
